Family: I was born in Rochester, NY. My parents, my brother, and sister and their families still live in that area.
Kathy and I have been happily married since 1973. We met in college. We have four grown children and five grandchildren. Matthew (Susan) and sons Owen and Oliver; Heather (Robert) and daughter Pearl; Nathan (Aimee) and sons Bryson and Ryland; and Benjamin. Three of our children live in the Atlanta, GA area and one lives in the Chicago area.

Likes: Talking with others about their lives, vacationing with my family. Last of all curling up under a warm blanket and drinking French Vanilla coffee reading to my kids.
Dislikes: Negative thoughts from people, having to worry about money and others complaining without offering solutions.
Hobbies: Helping out around church, taking care of my children, and driving to my children's events.
Education: Certificate in Child Development from Delta College (91) Associates Degree in Child Development from Delta College (92) B.S. in Elementary Education with minors in Math and Science from SVSU (03). Currently I am taking classes toward my Masters Endorsement in Special Education - Learning Disabilites (only 3 more classes to go!!!)
Experience: I was a nanny for 5 years here in Saginaw for 3 children after I graduated from Delta College in 92. I then became the Director of a center in Frankenmuth for 2 years and then decided that I wanted to continue my education. I worked for my Father-in-law for a few years (Butler Auction Service) and returned to school. When I graduated from school I was a substitute teacher for a few months then started working here at Good Shepherd.
Family: I was born and raised in the Saginaw area. I grew up in Bridgeport attending Schluckbeir, Schrah, Jr. High and High School. I have one sister, Tracey (Brian). They have 2 daughters, Amber and Jenna.
My husband (Tom) and I were married in June of 1993. We have 2 children Gillian (10) and Ethan (5) and the newest addition to the Butler family, Comet the Michigan Mix Pup.
